Math 260 - Linear Algebra I

Credits: 3

Course Description: Elementary theory of vector spaces. Topics include linear independence, bases, dimension, linear maps and matrices, determinants, orthogonality, eigenvalues and eigenvectors.

Pre-Requisites: MATH 140.

Frequency: Offered every semester (Fall-Spring-Summer).

Current Textbook: Introduction to Linear Algebra by Geza Schay. (Will be available in Xeroxed form at the Quinn Copy Center when school starts.)
Student Solution Manual Check with your instructor to make sure this is the textbook used for your section.
