Math 260 - Linear Algebra I

Credits: 3

Course Description: Elementary theory of vector spaces. Topics include linear independence, bases, dimension, linear maps and matrices, determinants, orthogonality, eigenvalues and eigenvectors.

Pre-Requisites: MATH 140.

Frequency: Offered every semester (Fall-Spring-Summer).

Current Textbook: Linear Algrbra with Applications, by Otto Bretscher, 3rd Edition.
Check with your instructor to make sure this is the textbook used for your section.
