General Topology

Course Description: This course is an introduction to the abstract theory of continuity and convergence, otherwise known as general (or point-set) topology. Topics include metric spaces and topological spaces, continuity, subspaces, product and quotient spaces, sequences, nets and filters, separation and countability, compactness, connectedness, and the fundamental group.

Pre-Requisites: MATH 360 or permission of instructor.
