Besides the required courses, a student must take three other Mathematics courses,
numbered 300 or higher.
Notes:
Science Courses:
For the Bachelor of Science degree, in addition to the above requirements,
a student must take 4 (four) science courses and a lab. Each course must be part
of the requirements for the major in the department offering the course.
Courses that are acceptable include:
- Biology, Chemistry, and Physics: All courses required for the respective majors.
- Psychology, Engineering, and EEOS: Selected courses (consult with your advisor).
Further Rules and Requirements:
- A minimum of a 2.0 GPA (a C average) in the major is required for graduation.
- No requirement may be taken pass/fail.
- At least four Mathematics courses numbered 300 or higher must be taken at University of Massachusetts at Boston.
