University of Massachusetts BostonCayley-Bacharach Theorem: Around it and About. (Part I)
Abstract:
An early form of this theorem appeared long ago, and it has
been extended several times since then. We'll examine some of
the more recent developments, from an elementary standpoint.
The presentations cover a large variety of topics and are intended for a general math audience. The seminar is organized by Prof. Alfred Noël and we usually meet Monday afternoons, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
