This is a continuation of Math 140. Topics include transcendental functions, techniques of integration, applications of the integral, improper integrals, L'Hospital's rule, sequences, and series. Please note: Because Math 141 is the second part of the integrated calculus sequence, it should be taken as soon as possible after Math 140 which is a prerequisite.
Material to be covered: Sections 6.2 - 6.5, 7.5, 7.7, 8.1 - 8.4, 8.8, 9.1, 9.3, 10.3, 10.4, 11.1 - 11.5, Appendix G, 12.1 - 12.12.
Homework

Exams: There will be three hour exams and a Final exam:
Exam I : Tuesday October 1 ,Exam II : Tuesday November 5, Exam III: Tuesday December 3
Final : (3 hour exam) Final week, time and date to be announced
Grading Procedures:
Homework : 25%, Exams 45%, Final 30%THERE WILL BE NO MAKEUP EXAMS.
STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MATERIAL COVERED IN CLASS.
