Description:

 

This course has 3 credits. Topics taken from classical Euclidean geometry and the non Euclidean geometries; projective geometry; lattices; finite geometries.

 

We will cover topics in every chapter except 5.

 

Pre-Requisites: Math 260.

 

There will be weekly homework assignments

 

Exams: There will be one midterm on October 17 and a cumulative final exam.

 

Grading Procedures: Homework : 50% -  Midterm 20% -  Final exam: 30%.

 

THERE WILL BE NO MAKEUP EXAMS.

 

STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MATERIAL COVERED IN CLASS.
