Teaching

Statement

In the life and education of a young individual, role models play an important part. Some students choose personalities as their role models, others choose athletes, and some pick their favorite professor. It is my goal to become such a professor. My philosophy is that a teacher should be an educator, not just a lecturer. My mother has been a Math teacher for many years; my own more than eight years of teaching experience have only strengthened what I learned from her a long time ago: that the most important factor in a successful teaching process is the existence of mutual trust and respect between educator and student. I am fully devoted to a successful academic career, and I hope that, someday, a student will tell me that I made a major positive impact on her/his life.
