The Math final exam is scheduled on Friday, December 20, 2013 from 3-6 p.m. Since Math 115 is a multi-sectional course, all students take the common final exam on the same day and at the same time as scheduled by the University Registrar. There are no exceptions to this rule. Because of security reasons, this exam will not be given to any student(s) before this day and time. Two documents have been placed on e-reserves at the Healey Library only for the students who are registered in the Math 115 course during this Fall semester. These are separate pdf documents which students should use appropriately if they want to review for the final exam. It should be emphasized to the students that this document is not to be considered as a sample final: (1) Practice Problems and (2) Practice Problems with Solutions. Students can access these documents as follows: umb=>>(quick links:) Healey Library=>> (quick links:) Course Reserves=>>e-reserves=>> enter under course "Math 115" and click on "Zaleskas-all sections". Please notify your students about the availability of these document. At this time the Math Resource Center has not notified me if it is planning to schedule a review class before the final. I plan to have the Math 115 final exam completed and printed in book form around the last week of classes. It will have the same set-up and form as in past finals. I will email you when they are ready. Finals are never copied and given out to the students as a review during any semester. (They are given only to students in future semesters who have verifiable conflicts and cannot take the final on the scheduled day and time.) Margaret Zaleskas Math 115 Course Coordinator
