Dear students:
Here is some useful information for you concerning my classes.

1.  ALL students in my classes must pass a multiplication facts quiz
    with 70 multiplication facts, time limit 2 minutes.
    Any result less than 100% complete is considered failure.
    This quiz is done in ink, with no erasures or crossouts allowed.
    The 2 minute time limit ensures that if you stop to calculate a few
    facts, you will not be able to finish in time.
      You will have several opportunities to take this quiz.
      Students anticipating difficulty with this should speak to me in person.

    Please learn or re-learn these facts!!!!

2.  I give LOTS of homework.  YOU are responsible for finishing your
    homework on time.  YOU are responsible for checking your answers.

3.  The textbooks for the courses M115, M129 and M130  will be announced.
    DO NOT buy a text from the UMass Bookstore before you hear from me.
    I will likely not use or require the standard text for those classes.
    For M140, M141, and M125,  I --AM-- using the standard texts.
