Seidel Elements and Mirror Symmetry Transformations

Abstract: Let $X$ be a non-singular projective toric variety whose anti-canonical class is semipositive (nef). After giving an introduction to the construction of the mirror symmetry transformation, I will present work with Iritani regarding the relation of such mirror symmetry transformations and certain invertible elements in the quantum cohomology of $X$, known as Seidel elements. I will present some conjectures that relate this work to Lagrangian Floer Theory superpotentials introduced by Fukaya-Ohta-Ono-Oh.
