Abstract:
In this talk I will describe my work on three aspects of
tuberculosis. On the molecular level, I will present an algorithm
called MetaMerge for reconciling two metabolic network reconstructions
of the same organism, with application to M. tuberculosis. I will also
describe my toolbox, MONGOOSE, for metabolic network analysis,
motivated by tuberculosis but later extended to other organisms. I
will finish by describing my recent algorithm, MixTB, on interpreting
genetic information from tuberculosis strains to detect mixed
infection patterns.
